Abnormal brain structure identified in children with developmental language problems

A rigorous analysis of numerous studies concludes that a part of the brain traditionally associated with movement is abnormal in children with developmental language impairments. The discovery has the potential to improve both the diagnosis and treatment of the language difficulties.

       Psikolojide araştırma sürecinin en temel taşı "problem" olarak görülmektedir. Bir araştırmaya başlamak için önce sizi düşündüren, yoran, endişelendiren bir probleminiz olmalıdır. Endişeli ve yorma kelimelerini  bir probleme yoğunlaşma anlamında ifade ediyorum. Bu durum sizi korkutmamalıdır.        Problemin  tez-antitez-sentez paradigmasını maddeler ile daha belirgin hale getirelim. Psikoloji bir sosyal bilim olduğu için bu doğrultuda açıklama yapacağım. İlk olarak; "Bilimsel problemin tespit edilmesi" olarak yola çıkalım. Belli bir problemimiz var ve bu problemin  nasıl bir doğaya sahip olduğunu bilmemiz için ikinci bir yola ihtiyacımız var : "Gözlem" . Gözlemlediğimiz problem hakkında veri yani bilgi topluluğunu bir araya getirmeliyiz. Bu aşama da üçüncü aşamamız olmaktadır. Elimizde problemin doğası hakkında ciddi bir bilgi mevcut. Bu bilgiler doğrultusunda artık belli bir neden-sonuç ilişkisini tetikleyecek varsayımlarda bulunabiliriz
